Quanzhou China Travel
When you come to China and decide on a good time, it is important to know when you should not go to China. While I was sifting through my packing list for winter trips to China, I jumped over to Quanzhou, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
To get there, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is one of China's most important air hubs, ranked third in passenger traffic and located just a few kilometers from Quanzhou city center. The airport serves a variety of international destinations, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other major cities. There are many relatively slow trains to and from Quanzhou, but Wuhan Airport is located in the middle of a city of about 1.5 million people and is also one of the busiest for domestic air traffic.
International flights departing from Chengdu are currently limited, and the short transit rule is not discussed in detail here. In general, it is more flexible and allows domestic flights from China to take off and leave the country within 24 hours of arrival in China, rather than 24 hours after the first point of entry. Please do not attempt to book or change suitable itineraries to circumvent this rule.
During your trip to China, your guide will be flexible and will suggest changes to the order of visits based on the latest information they have, such as weather or crowds.
Travellers should also remember that due to the cold weather, it is best to travel to China in the summer months, not in the winter months. Instead, read our page on spring pack tips in China and make your trip easier with a few Yi Yis. For travelers who want to take time to visit China's landmarks, Chinese New Year is the time to visit, but travelers should also note that the times to avoid visiting China are the National Day and Golden Week, which take place between October 1 and 7.
Visitors staying in Guangzhou, China, can obtain a 72-hour transit visa free of charge. Follow us as we explain how to determine whether your itinerary is eligible and how much it costs.
If you are travelling from Hong Kong and want to experience a little bit of China, you can take the direct train from Guangzhou to Shanghai. This means that you do not have to fly directly to Guangdong, but use TWOV during your stay in Shanghai, which can cause many delays.
In the future, in 2012, you will be able to go all the way to Shenzhen, but it will be almost impossible to find a train ticket. There are also high-speed trains in China, which you can see in detail in the video below (see "High-Speed Trains in China" for details). The train travels north to Wenzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai and then north again to Guangdong. Tourist attractions are packed with visitors from all over China and getting a plane ticket would be more expensive, especially if you travel from Hong Kong.
If you plan to visit China or visit China more than once, it is better to apply for a normal tourist visa. If you travel to another country in China or another region, you will have to pay for your own ticket.
On our last day in Guangzhou, we took part in the Eating Adventures Food Tour, one of the leading food tours offered in the city (based on TripAdvisor reviews). Our Quanzhou Fujian Travel Package is part of our Quanzhou Zhou China Tour, which includes Qu Tanzhou.
Xiapu Watt and Fujian Tulou clusters are scattered across Xiapu, Nanjing and Yongding, so a car is the best way to travel. The best places to avoid in summer include Zhongshan, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangsu and Guangzhou, as well as some of the city's most popular tourist areas. Choose your favorite destination from the list below, along with a list of our favorite places in Qu Tanzhou and Quanzhou Zhou.
If you plan to travel to southern China, especially Guilin, between April and August, you will need to be prepared for possible flight delays or cancellations due to bad weather. Many people come to China in the summer months, which makes things more difficult. It is recommended to use high-speed trains when heading to destinations that are not so close to each other.
Africa is the typical destination for Chinese tourists, who spend an average of $1,683 a week - a long journey. The Chinese are linked to the world's second-largest economy after the US, with total annual income of more than $2.5 billion.
Since January 1, 2016, China has allowed foreigners to travel and visit several cities in China, but from September 12, those whose final destination is Jiangsu, Zhejiang or Anhui and who arrive in Shanghai must undergo a three-day central quarantine in Shanghai and be transferred to these three provinces to continue quarantine there. Close to Xiamen there are a number of hotels, restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions, including the largest shopping center in the world and the largest hotel chain in the country. The airport is one of China's most popular tourist destinations and offers a wide range of activities to encourage foreign tourists to stop off on their way to other countries.
